1. Are martingale collars only for greyhounds?
Answer: No, but due to the anatomical design of a greyhound's head (skinnier than their neck), martingale collars are a popular choice (among adopters) for the breed as they tighten when the leash is pulled and therefore make it more difficult for the collar to slip off. All breeds can wear martingale collars or in the alternative I do make the same patterns in the traditional side release (buckle) style.
2. How do I measure for the perfect fit?
Answer: Using a fabric tape measure, measure around your dog's neck wear the collar would normally sit. Based on this measurement, choose from the sizes listed for each collar. If you have a breed other than a greyhound, measure around your dog's head to ensure that the collar will fit over his or her head.
3. Do you ship to worldwide?

4. Do you accept personal checks?
Answer: Yes. Please make the check payable to "Stephanie Challender" and mail it to: 1820 S. Anna Drive, Marblehead, Ohio 43440. Upon receipt of the same, I will make your collar(s) and ship them the next day to you. I have updated the shopping cart information so this same information will be provided to you when placing your order.
5. Do you accept credit cards?
Answer: Yes I do. As of 5/31/2011, I can now accept credit cards via over the telephone. If you would like to pay using your credit card (Visa, Master Card, Discover & American Express), please call me at 419-350-1662 and I can take this information over the phone for you and process your Happy Hound Collar order.
6. Do you sell wholesale to non-profit rescue group?

7. What is your turnaround time?
Answer: If I receive your order by 7 p.m. (est) and full payment has been made, your order will usually be out to you within 48 hours (wholesale orders not included)! For orders paid by personal checks, once I receive your check, I will proceed with your order and ship it the following day. I will email you with an estimated delivery date once it has been shipped. Please use the estimated delivery date as a guide as the automated postage machines can be off by a day or two.
8. I measured my dog's neck and am between sizes. What size should I order?
Answer: Go with the larger size to ensure a little room for adjusting.
9. Can I wash my Happy Hound Collar?
Answer: Yes! You can use top load or front load washers. Please use gentle cycle, cold water and lay or hang to dry. For collars with Swarovski stones, I do not recommend machine washing. See my

10. Where do you buy your materials?
Answer: All HHC collars are made with only the best materials and hardware. I purchase all materials from stores in the U.S.A.
